There are runes, Toph. I... well, we'd have to tattoo them to you. It hurts like hell, but I can make an array on your skin. They don't last forever. Each one works for about an hour and recharges, but it could improve your hearing a lot.
Probably not perfect, but I bet it would help. Just ... be careful if you hear really tiny giggles.

...and don't worry about it. There's these tiny fairies, itty bitty things. If you hear the giggles, try and smash it fast. They can let off a really loud flash bang that would hurt like hell while the rune's on.
They're frost giant forces. It's just their tactics really. They've got their weapons and we've got ours. This one happens to be a really bad one if your hearing's being boosted is all.
There you go. You get the idea. there's a lot of these runes, so it'll be fun going over them all. Funny thing is one of my favorites won't do a thing to you. You can't see me anyway, so what good is invisibility?
