Three roads up the road between Sigyn and Loki from the big palace nobody goes in at the center of town. It's a smallish road. Hang a right into it, and it'll be the second door on your left, up a short flight of steps.
Easy to miss if you're looking. If you're just walking and counting intersections, a lot easier.
You obviously don't know me that well, Toph. I avoid my life by hiding out in my lab, making potions all day. Trust me. I've got plenty to do around here. [She snickered again, grinning to herself.]

It only takes her an hour to find Pinch, though she did also get plenty of help from more or less eager (sometimes a bit too eager) natives. They sure seem very fond of the Travellers. Not that she's complaining.
She opens the door, and sniffs the air. Smells like there could be a lab about somewhere, yeah. ]
[There was definitely that strong smell, like an alchemist or apothecary's shop should have had. When the door opened, a little bell above rang. Her calls were responded to quickly enough.]
Just a second, Toph. There's a path around the counter if you come forward. I'm down the hall behind it.
She steps forward with confidence and stops as soon as she feels the stick - the one Sam gave her and she's still using - hit something solid. A quick further investigation makes it obvious it's the counter, and she starts shuffling around it. ]
Heh. It's a stone statue of mine that can move and protect this room. The runes can be used for that too, though it's expensive to keep up if you're always doing it. Helps to have a shop. It's kind of like paying for security.
[She slapped her hand down on the table, giving Toph the indication of where to go.]

[And, to this, she wasn't embellishing as she sometimes did. It was definitely painful, and though Samantha wasn't really that great at making things pretty, she could keep a mystic array precisely in place. She just needed to focus on getting the ink in the right points to make sure none of the symbols were askew, which meant muscling her charge down once in a while and the piercing pain growing into a dull throb wherever the array was placed.]
