[Ellie laughs. In fact, she sounds a little out of breath, like she's talking and running at the same time, but there are none of the normal street noises.]
[Ellie says something muffled by barking, but then goes silent for a while as she wrangles the dog. A little bit of time will pass before she gets there, but soon enough she'll hear Ellie down the walkway a bit, the jangle of Jackson's collar and the leash.
And then the sound of clawed feet racing towards her, one excited bark, and a warm tongue and cold nose all over her hands.]
[ It's a good thing Ellie's warned her, or that might have freaked her out a bit. At least now she knows just what the jangling is, and even if she grimaces at the sudden wetness on her hands she lets the dog do its thing. ]
[ She takes a step back, because she's at least always been good at bracing herself and standing her ground. She's about ready to tell the dog off herself too, but Ellie gets to it first. ]

Aaaactually not that far off. It was a house, though, with a big garden, and dad too, and my earthbending teacher when he came around.
You knew someone who was locked in a tower?
Voice
Anyway, uh. We can talk about that later, but there's somebody I wanted you to meet.

Hey!

Yeah, apparently.
[ She wipes her face with a grimace. ]

So, I know you've already met, but this is Jackson and he's the world's worst guard dog.
